Hi there. My name is and I am a family photographer. Last year I decided to expand my photography business and started teaching photography to children. I ran an after school photography clubs as well as holiday camps, and I bought the basic digital photography as well as camp packages from Magazine Mama. They are amazing.
You get tons of information as well as a PowerPoint presentation, which is the basis of what you teach to the children. They're really adaptable. You can add your own logos, you can break it down, you can change photos on it. You get other resources like posters, which I printed, and booklets that I created for the children ... they get to keep and take away ... as well as ID badges, which I print and hand out to the children.
The after school club I run is normally once a week, and I have about 12 children. As I'm based in London, I charge in pounds, so I charge them 75 pounds (approx. 91 U.S. dollars) for a 10 weeks course. The workshops that I do during the holiday range from 50 to 60 pounds (approx. 50 - 60 U.S. dollars) for a five hour day. If you are looking to expand your photography business and teach photography to children as well as adults, then I would really recommend you buying any of the digital packages from Magazine Mama.
